Baby Finn - Newborn Session

So this past weekend, I took newborn pictures of my mom's boyfriend's new grandson, Finn! He is baby number two, so big brother, Xavier, got in on the picture taking, as well!
This was the first time I have had the pleasure of taking pictures of a VERY active toddler, and let me tell you... I'm surprised I got as many great pictures as I did! I can thank my handy dandy, super fast camera for that, because man does that kiddo MOVEEEE!
Anyway, we had such a blast, and the babies did an awesome job as well! Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot...
Big brother, Xav! Isn't he so terrible adorable!?!

Baby Finn's feetsies!

Probably my FAVORITE from the whole shoot!

Did you happen to notice my new watermark? ("Watermark": the faintly visible imprint on the digital photograph, which serves the purpose of copyright protection for the property that is in digital format--- however, I like to think of it as GREAT ADVERTISEMENT!)
Thanks to the eye of the lovely Emily, I was able to create a new, and much improved watermark! YAY!
I should probably go and finish this little man's baby announcement! I'll be posting it on Etsy soon, so I'll be sure to let you know when I do!
Hope everyone has a great week, or what's left of it!

N + J - Wedding Photography

Here are just a few pictures from the Chattanooga wedding this weekend! The wedding was unique, the weather was amazing, and the party was awesome! Can't wait to get the rest of the pictures edited!

For now, here are some from the bride, Nicole, getting ready!

Don't worry, I'll post more, later! But for now... on to more editing!

Chattanooga Wedding!

"The time has come," the walrus said, "to talk of many things! Of shoes and ships and sealing wax; of cabbages and kings...." AND WEDDINGS! WAHOO!

I'm excited to say, I will be shooting my very first wedding this weekend in lovely Chattanooga, Tennessee! I'm sure the bride Nicole, will be thrilled to hear that the weather on Saturday should be awesome. I certainly can't wait for the festivities! I'm a little nervous... but hey, that is to be expected!

Look back for wedding pictures next week! I'm so excited about it, I'm sure I'll edit them as soon as possible! Wish me luck and happy thoughts!

Sanai Jazz - Newborn Session

Well, I finally got to meet my friend Courtney's baby girl, Sanai! She is the sweetest!
In the 10 minutes that she decided that she wanted to be my model, I got a few cute shots!

She wasn't a huge fan of hats, but seemed to be fine with the headbands. I don't really blame her though!

She is the prettiest little thing, pictures just really do her no justice!

Here she is, with my FAVORITE headband!

Her faces are the cutest! Glad I could capture one!

I'm going to try again, at a later date, to get some pictures of this sweet baby girl!

H + J - Maternity Session

As I stated in my previous blog, I had a maternity shoot with a friend of mine, Hayley. Of course, after the two hours of catching up (good think her husband, Jay, was preoccupied with basketball on t.v.) we had a great time shooting! Jack, one of their sweet pups, had a slight issue with me getting close to Hayley, he's a little protective of her these days, but all went smoothly!
Hayley is absolutely adorable pregnant!

Jack, the little boy that gave me a run for my money! Isn't he the sweetest?

"G" for baby Grace! Love this!

It was so great seeing Hayley, meeting Jay, and getting to share this awesome moment with the two of them! Thanks for letting me into your beautiful home, and letting me rearrange a few things! ;o)
I absolutely cannot WAIT for sweet baby Grace to "grace" us with her presence in just a short 6 weeks!
